North Korea state-sanctioned child labor

May 30, 2021.  The government of the dictator of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, usually referred to as North Korea, has embarked on state-sanctioned forced child labor in its mines.  This is the first time in decades that a regime has officially acknowledged a state-sanctioned policy of forced child labor.  All the minors are orphans.

The regime already has a policy of forced labor of adults in its coalmines.  The conditions are horrendous.  The victims are forced to work under harsh overseers in unsafe conditions and with little food.

Meanwhile, the dictator, Kim Jong-un, is a modern Pharaoh, with multiple palaces and fast cars and dines on caviar and French wines.

The regime is a murderous regime with a network of gulag camps (forced labor camps) across the county. More...
